Making Charging your Vehicle Easy

Electric vehicles accounted for 13.1% of all new car sales in Australia in 2025, up from 9.5% the year before. Battery electric vehicles grew 14.1% year-on-year, with plug-in hybrids recording 134.5% growth. The national EV fleet has passed 410,000 vehicles, with the Electric Vehicle Council projecting one million on the road before 2028. In New Zealand, the registered fleet now stands at approximately 94,200 fully electric light vehicles, with a further 47,100 plug-in hybrids. In South Korea, where CarCram has operated since 2021, cumulative domestic BEV sales reached 170,000 units in the first nine months of 2025 alone, a 58% increase on the same period the prior year.

The buildings being designed today will be in service well past each of these milestones. Specifying EV charging at the structure stage, rather than retrofitting it later, is the more considered approach for your client’s asset value and for long-term compliance with evolving urban codes.

Every CarCram system, from multi-level car stackers to fully automated garages, can be configured with EV charging ports as part of the original design.
