Small-Sized Parking Systems
Parking for 4-10 cars | Dependent and Independent Car Stackers for Small Residential Buildings
Official Australian WÖHR Partner
Compact Efficiency in Urban Parking
Double & Triple Your Parking Capacity with German Precision
CarCram delivers industry-leading mechanical car stackers and space-optimising parking systems across Melbourne and nationwide. As the official partner for WÖHR Autoparksysteme, our installations double and triple usable parking density within residential basements, commercial developments, and private garages.
From independent pit systems providing direct, on-demand vehicle access to dependent stackers for height-constrained spaces, our systems combine robust German hydraulics with strict Australian safety compliance.

Independent Car Stackers
Direct access to every vehicle
2 to 3 vertical levels in pit
Single & double-width platforms
Best for apartments & offices
Models: Parklift 450, 405, 440 & Levelparker 570
Dependent Car Stackers
Surface mounted (No pit needed)
Requires lower car to move
Ideal for residential garages,
valet & fleet vehicle storage
1. Independent Pit Parking Systems (Direct Vehicle Access)
Independent systems allow any driver to retrieve their car at any time without moving adjacent vehicles, utilising a subterranean pit to lower platforms below ground.
-
Parklift 450 (Double Level Pit Park): The premier standard for residential basements. Accommodates vehicle heights up to 220 cm and platform widths up to 300 cm (single) or 540 cm (double).
-
Parklift 405 (Inclined 2-Level Pit): Engineered for restricted ceiling heights with a slight 2% incline for optimal headroom and water runoff.
-
Parklift 440: Heavy-duty comfort system offering payload capacities up to 2.6 tonnes per platform for modern SUVs and electric vehicles.
2. Dependent Car Stackers (Above-Ground Stacking)
Ideal for maximising vertical garage ceiling height when excavation for a pit is not possible.
-
Parklift 411 (“The Shelf”): Surface-mounted 2-level vertical stacking. Trusted by leading tech facilities and residential developers globally to double vehicle capacity without ground excavation.
- Parklift 421 ( Triple Stacker): Transforms a single ground space into a 3-tier vertical stack without a pit (1 driving level = 3 parking levels). Capable of accommodating vehicle heights up to 180 cm per level and platform widths up to 270 cm, with platform load ratings up to 2,600 kg. Suitable for indoor multi-residential garages, outdoor installations, automotive service centres, and valet operations.
3. Compact Automated & Puzzle Systems
For projects requiring parking for 4 to 50+ vehicles within tight structural envelopes.
-
Levelparker 570: Compact sliding-pallet automated parking that eliminates ramps, driving aisles, and wasted corridor space.

Frequently Asked Questions
An independent car stacker uses a subterranean pit so any driver can park or retrieve their car without disturbing other vehicles. A dependent car stacker operates above ground without a pit, requiring the lower car to be moved before lowering the upper platform.
Yes. CarCram’s Wöhr systems are available with heavy-duty 2,600 kg platform ratings designed to safely carry large SUVs and battery electric vehicles (BEVs), with optional integrated EV charging connections on each platform.
Two figures matter most when planning for a Wöhr Parklift 450: the height of your ceiling, and the depth of the pit beneath it.
Ceiling height: You’ll need a minimum clearance of 3.20m. Depending on how tall the vehicles are that you want to accommodate, this can extend up to 3.80m for the standard configuration, or as high as 4.60m for the premium option built to fit larger SUVs and 4WDs on both levels.
Pit depth: The pit itself ranges from 1.70m to 2.40m, again scaled to the vehicle heights you’re designing for.
The right combination comes down to the vehicles your car park is built for. Taller vehicles need more room both above and below ground, while a car park designed for smaller vehicles can work with tighter dimensions.
As every project is different, we’d recommend reading the datasheet for the specific parking system you’re interested in before finalising any design or construction plans. Our team can also help you match the right configuration to your site and your residents’ cars.
